Bio
I am Katrina McDonald, the high school Spanish teacher. I have been teaching at FA since 2008. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Spanish at Florida State University. Go, Noles! I studied abroad at the University of Costa Rica as an undergraduate. I started my teaching career during graduate school and taught introductory Spanish classes at FSU. I have been married since 2005 to my husband, Trey, who works as a social worker for Lake County Schools. We have two great kiddos who attend First Academy. It is a privilege to work and have my family at FA. The Christ-centered education and family environment are my favorite parts of our school. It is a joy to be able to share my passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures with my students, and most of all my love for Jesus Christ.
